As the H55 gearbox of my HJ60 is due for rebuild, I wonder if I could mate a H150/HF2A full-time 4wd drivetrain to the 2H engine. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for your comment,
Peter

It can be done, you will need a adaptor plate for fit up to the 2H and change the G/Box mounts. A lot of stuffing around, better of with a rebuild and use a auto seal between the gearbox and t'case.

Thanks a lot Well 55,

there's the idea of the permanent 4wd...(seems I've too much time). Do you know if I would need a custom clutch or do the input shafts match?
