I was down at "Ray's" today and dear old Ray Frost has added another "Wild Country" brand product to his range.
It is a compressor fridge at $599 which is exactly the same product that Supercheap have been putting out at $499 for months.
Also saw a Waeco FF 70 fridge (they have been superseded for at least a year) there for the bargain basement price of $1299 ROFLMAO.
Buy at Ray's at your peril.

Just remember tho that if you go to Rays and ask for their best price they won't give u one. But if u find a cheaper price they will beat any price by 5%. So
shop around and then hit them up for the extra discount. As for the FF-70.....it makes my fridgeshop purchase for $650 look pretty good. They are a fantastic fridge.(oops lets not start another fridge debate lol)

They lost a $1400 sale on an outdoor setting over a small delivery fee. How many hundreds were they going to profit from me but threw it away over a few bucks...strange place

Ray,
The bloke who owns the business is as tight as a fish's ....
well you know what I mean.
My wife used to work for him.
He didn't get rich through being a generous man.
I only ever go there to investigate options, I wouldn't put money in his pocket.

We only ever buy there during the VIP sales - and clean up.
The attitude of some staff is amazing though - one local store's manager refused to divulge the date of the next VIP sale ("months away, but it's still a great buy at that price") - we walked to the front counter and the pimply-faced teenager told us up front the next sale was in just 6 days time. Got the email the next day.
Bought the item from the other local Rays during their sale.

Scubie,
You will never clean up at Ray's VIP sales.
His prices are so inflated that at 22.5% off, they're still expensive.
eg his 12 volt oven is $99.95. You can get the same thing at Dick Smith for $25.
