Hi,
I'm almost afraid to ask this however here goes.
My son has a live front end, manual 2000 model 100 series L/C Diesel 1hz with safari turbo and intercooler.
Its currently fitted with 285/75 16 Bridgestones which give it a small amount of lift and are about the limit for under the gaurds.
The vehicle is used as a daily driver with about four weeks of "serious" offroad a year- usually on beaches and often in
the desert where no tracks exist.
He would like another 2inches of lift , perhaps a bit more, and is interested to know the best way to achieve this without compromising the handling too much and without having to sell the farm to achieve it.
Any thoughts on products and suppliers would be much appreciated.
A point worth noting is that he has the flash 100 whilst dad is still perambulating in the 75 series.

Not sure of your location, but Ridepro have a good product for the $ they cost, and the guys involved really know thier stuff at the manufacture/development end.

Hey John, Had Ridepro 2" lift kit in a late model dico good price nice ride and better offroad than stock.Purchased at ORE in myaree WA.

Install a set of medium lovell raised springs but retain the standard toyota shocks.
Nothing wrong with toyota's shocks as they are a good product.
Should give a 50mm lift front and rear and you won't have to do castor bushes or anything.
The ride will be excellent. If you put in HD springs it will be a harsh ride when empty but could give an extra 25mm lift.

I got myself some 3 inch raised king springs with adjustable 41mm
bore power down shocks from "the 4wd shop". They ride great and the only way the handling has been affected is by improving it. now corners much better than it used to. I run a 80 series with 285's.
I found it to be one of the cheapest
places in W.A for them and most other item sto do with four wheel drives.
