If you have not had a second read of this post it now contains some interesting info from Dr Jon Jenkins NSW MLC.
Well worth the read and maybe your opportunity to ask a question or two.
Cheers

Yes. A bit of a mouthful and lots of hot air(carbon dioxide?).
I won't panic about what pollies are wasting their time on.
What is a 4wd? Something with four

Willem if you knew me you'd know I can't stand politics. However there are a (very) few good eggs in that basket, and having the "inside track" ...at a respectable distance of course.:)..in a certain case I can assure you that he's one of them.
I may not agree with policies and personalities but I can assure you that he works as hard as any of the rest of Australia. And last time I looked, he knows his way around 4wds :))

Actually Jim I have just printed Jon's responses out to digest. I was not taking his sincerity into question but the system as a whole

You have got to give the guy some credit, There are not many politicians in this country who would.
1. Admit to reading the forums and web sites.
2. Have the balls to actually post and receive the potential backlash from all and sundry who do not agree with him. (And Deal with it)
Most pollies would be curled up in front of the fire reading Tom Clancy and dreaming that they are changing the world.

Politics - "poli" meaning many and "tics" meaning tiny, bloodsucking parasites.
The good ones are damn hard to find.

The missus is still in mourning after her mother passed away recently and I'm still recovering after looking after two little girls for two weeks while the missus was away...what an experience, had to go back to work for a rest. I suppose I could find some more interesting pics soon.
