As an aside, I have a warn 9000 (2.5HP) which is currently being upgraded to 9500 (6HP) specs fpr about $600.

I asked simlar question a while ago - I am looking for someone in Perth to service my Warn - does anyone know who can do it.

Is the upgrade Warn original - where do you get it from?

PS went through Widgie last week (sneezed and missed it)on the way to Baxter Cliffs - Stopped at Fraser Range overnight. Great camping at Wylies Camp and easy driving on the Beach to Isrealite Bay. Seaweed on the beach closer to Isrealite otherwise easy driving. Also went into Wattle camp for a look, could not find the main camp area through all the myriad of tracks. Is there an easy way to the camp. I assume this area is used for fishing - when is the best time and what fish are there. PSS saw literally dozens of Whales along the beach as well as seals on the beach.

should have posted about it - between Willem and I we have the area pretty much tripnoted. BTW I have heard calm has ripped down the beach access to Toolina cove - can you confirm or deny this???

Low mount??

The first link has what you need to know. If it's a high mount I'll hunt the article out for you. PM me.

Link to my site from first reply - Warn rebuild stuff is down the bottom above the flooding pics

Just built another of those tilting slides on Saturday for another set of _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx for a mate's new Navara.

Works a treat. Specially for short ar$es like me.

I'll get around to some pics of that one too.

Davoe,

There's a short article in one of the 4WD Monthly Gold Label Editions - Trip Preparation Guide from March this year, pages 40 - 45 ( less adds and other crap).

As a magazine buying tragic i have the issue and yep there it is. The vehicle is currently at the Auto leccies for a bit of a pulldown. So he should have the electrical side well covered and from the link above i was able to give him info on the braking etc. So we shall see one thing for sure it will prob cost me heaps

Yep, me too. Goes some way to making up for the time I don't spend in the bush. It does accentuate the 'itchy feet' problem though.
