I may be wrong but chips are for electronically tuned jobbies. That said, call the Tunit people at Berryma, if one can be done they can be doing it.

Dunno about exhaust guys except about here. Lucy will know though, he knows stuff about goats

Lillydale Mufflers.

I know, its more East than SE, however they allegedly did a s h i t load of R&D wortk with Safari on exhaust systems to match the Safari snorkel & turbo setups.

I say alleged because I didn't witness it and only repeat what I was told by others including Lillydale Mufflers.

They put a mandrel bend exhaust on my Troopy witha straight through muffler type thingo.

Very little noise as the turbo kills/cancels most of it.

Not 4 the 4.2 only for the 3ltr.
However it can be retuned for much better performance. There are many that can do this.See previous post.

For the exhaust, just shop around. I got mine from fast fit on wells road frankston but that was few yrs back...

Call Denco, see what they have to offer, they did good with mine.

Others to try are AG Diesel.

We have a 3' exhaust plus the tune up done. On a recent trip to WA the least we got towing a camper trailer with boat and motor on was 4.44km/l to 6.21 at the best. Would have probably got around 5.5 average over the 17000 ks. The difference in power to the bigger exhaust was certainly worth it. Great to be able to accelerate with the trailer on.

Hi Steve,
a couple of months ago I saw an article or forum posting about a system of injecting lpg into diesel engines to provide the sort of benefits you are talking about. Not cheep though.
