Has anyone got published dimensions on beam spread/length for any of the IPF lights (looking at the IPF 900 specifically). Cibie and a few other manufacturers publish them (e.g driving 22m x 400m, spot 17m x 480m etc), but can't find anything from ARB for the IPF range. Have emailed them and am waiting for a response, but I thought someone here might know of a source on the web for this info in the meantime. Other light I am considering is the Oscar SC, and I was quoted over $680 for a set today.
Not interested in hearing about how Lightforce are better - 240s won't fit and don't care for the 170s.

See! See! BONZ
I told you so.
Piff those plastic things that are blocking your air flow and get your self a set of decent lights i.e. IPF 900's.
Or are you now going to tell me 4x4 are talking out the wrong end like the othe mag does on occassions.

S&N
You have made a mistake with your member name - it should be S&M, because thats what you are doing to me by giving the BONZ any sort of angle to reply on.
I know you are trying to be helpful here, but believe me, where the 'Terang Terror' is involved, it is a strictly 'take no prisoners' policy. (ROFLMAO)
I think the Hella 175 Blue thingo was in fact those 1c things that Roachie just bought of some dude in Nigeria, and refuses to give adequate feedback on the
forum for members to evaluate for themselves, and decide if wish to squander their hard earned 1c's on buying same.

It’s amazing how different mags give different revues, 4WD monthly gave the 800 and 900 IPF average comments and said if you are going to buy a IPF light get the 740DDCS HIR.
I have Cibie Oscar’s and get around 450-500 Metres of good usable light and acceptable spread coverage sorry it’s a little hard to accurately determine spread coverage wile burling down the hwy-way.
If you get Cibie’s I would go the Super Oscar’s for more distance, I got Oscar’s as I could get a very reasonable discount off them, and they have preformed as I had expected so no complaints.

I brought a set of Narva 175s broard beam and spot for a $130. came with just about everythink you need to set them up (you need to buy an extra 5 Metres of wire to do the job) Tried them out the other night and they are brilliant!!

for the same price (I think) as the IPF's, you can get the lightforce 240 blitz, which would kick there bot bot!

G'day Scubaroo, sorry I can't give you the dimensions you want, all I can say is that on my Patrol I have an IPF900XS Series 1 spot 1 drive light set and find them perfect for my driving. I live out towards Reefton way and it's pretty dark out here some nights. The spot/driving light combination are great and the beam is more than adequate.

Scubaroo, I can't answer your question but thought you minght be interested in my Fathers Day presi this year. My kids suckered $399 from my wife to buy me a set of IPF900XS, the same configuration as above.
After reading a recent 4wd magazine recommendation and listening to the glowing recommendations from a couple of friends who had fitted the same
driving lights, I was sold on them.
Unfortunately I can't personnally comment on their performance yet. Good luck with your choice.
