I was wondering if anyone has been into Mount Buangor in Victoria?
I seen the article in 4wd Monthly and will be in this area late October and would be keen to hear of anyones experiences in the area and what 4wd tracks are worth taking a look at.
Thank you in advance Paul

Hi Paul,
Can't talk specific on the tracks but know of a few people who do off road there and they seem quite happy.
What I can tell you is of the great camping spot at Middle Creek if you do take on the adventure.
Long drop and undercover/camp fire eating facilities although you may have some trouble with getting a lot of wood.
Cheers.

Mostly easy to medium tracks in the area (mainly south of there tho at Pyrenees etc), with the odd difficult track hidden away or along power lines.

Nice easy relaxing weekend area tho. Close to some wineries, for those inclided that way.

Paul,i've spent alot of time there riding motorbikes and 4x4ing, we normally camp at chinamans camp ground which is lower than the others and doesn;t get as cold of a night.
telephone track is right behind the camp and is a good hill to start the day off, once at the top turning left on to eversly sugarloaf road (track) for a km or so then left again down cowan or iron pot trk will bring you to the start of branding yard trk.
From here on the trk can get very hard, sometimes unpassable in places, but depending on what your looking for a bloody lot of fun or misery ?
If this does'nt sound to your liking then you can head the other way from camp which will take you to all grades of tracks from easy to extreme depending on the conditions.
