SAVA RV tyres

Don't know anything about thier 4WD product, but thier passenger car tyres are worse than retreads for ride and grip.

I have a couple of 165/13 Sava L/T tyres on my boat trailer. I got them because 13" LT tyres are getting quite scarce and I had had a bad run with a well known Korean brand, a couple of which de-laminated at high speed. The Savas have a decent ply rating and load capacity.

Whilst Sava was originally a middle European brand (?Slovenia) as I understand it, they have been taken over by Goodyear and mine were, in fact, made by South Pacific Tyres (a Goodyear/Dunlop joint venture) in New Zealand

Before buying them, I spoke to one of Dunlop's technical blokes who reckoned they were a reasonable quality product at a budget price. Now I know he was hardly going to say they were crap, but he sounded impressive and I didn't have too many options other than unknown brands from Sth East Asia. Don't know whether this helps or hinders you in your decision, but if you wanted to check them out further, suggest you contact Dunlop.

we sell sava at work and reckon for a good priced tyre they do a good job.we have no comebacks and they wear well.this is all country driving.
