Next diesel Prado?

Does anyone have any info on the next Diesel Prado.. or the 2007 replacement for the 100 series. Have heard Toyota is developing a TD V8... any truth to that one?

Have a squiz in the search panel - there was a note awhile back about someone claiming to know that a new power level for the Prado TD was at least a year away. The current motor may be lower in KW than the competition but is still a fine motor - may be simpler and less prone to bugs too. It performs
well.
