Is anyone worried that all these supposed 'fuel saving devices' will start to sell more now? I mean, with claims of 10 - 20 - 30% fuel savings, I would think more and more unsuspecting people would be sucked into these scams.
I'm not saying they are all scams, just 99% of them (with a 1% margin of error, of course...)
I know this is a bit of a troll, but I am a bit bored this morning.....
Cheers,
Chump

bored?
you could always go and look for your knife....:)
yep, I think their sales will go up and new ones (new names) will come on the market. funny thing is, there are cheaper ways to try and save fuel than to spend money.

Been there....Looked for it....didn't find it.
It was bloody muddy that day, and where the defender was caught the mud was about a foot over the bottom of the back door. It was that smelly, oilt mud too, that just sucked things in.....
Oh
well, it was the first and last time i bogged it, so I had fun, anyway...lol

I don't know about fuel saving devices, will they work or not in cutting the weekly fuel bill?
If some one would allow me to try one on my car for a test on a known loop over a number of weeks, I might be interested. But then a known loop wouldn't work when looking for 5% or 10%. Head winds and quality of fuel make that much difference.
Still think my right foot makes a bigger difference. Just back off.
Then again, my right hand makes an even bigger difference :0).
Just don't start the engine and walk.
Old sign my father reminded me of that the govt put up during the war - "Is this trip really necessary?".
A bit bored too, but better start work I suppose.

Are you asking for an unbiased test of one of these devices?
Good luck!
That advice about not driving is good as
well. It's funny how the more we drive, the fatter the
population as a whole is getting. I can remember my grandfather telling us how he built a house in Rydalmere (near Parramatta), and actually used a bicycle to transport all the timber from Burwood over a period of a couple of years after the war. Kinda makes me feel bloody lazy now.......
