maps gor wedge settelment

gday everyone

im trying to find a map of the shacks and tracks around wedge island if any one can help i would very much appreciate it.

p.s i am still looking to buy a shack at wedge so if you are welling let me know.

I'm not aware of any maps of the tracks or shacks being available except for hand drawn ones , are you looking for one for the settlement ore one to get there?.There should be a notice board up there next to the public phone box with what if any shacks are for sale.Good luck.

i drove up last weekend and put some signs up around the place (shack wanted) ect ect i guess i will just have to wait till something becomes available my problem is i dont know anyone up there to spread the word that i am looking to buy a shack

Hi Johno,
the only detail I have ever come across(that doesn't mean others don't exist) is on my Magellan GPS software package "Mapsend". The latest version is called "Discover Aus". If you or a mate has this software it is easy enough to print a hard copy of the area you are looking at. Only downside is that the tracks are not named, just shown.

Read post 25611...summary: dont pay too much and make sure you allow for cost of removing the shack when required.

you should be able to buy a map at the fishing depot ,same place were the ice and pay phone is,thats were i got mine i will have a look if i have still got it and get back to you ,if not going up there in 3 weeks ...
