Hi all,
We've got the last week of October to play with and are looking for suggestions. Live in Melb (Mornington Peninsula) and have done Gippsland to death. Any suggestions on where to go? Would love some surf fishing, quiet non busy
bush camping and trees. Any ideas? Have 4WD (Hilux) however it will be just us (ie. one vehicle) so while we would love a bit of 4WDing - it tends to guarantee more solitude at your destination - it can't be too risky as we wont have another vehicle to help out.
Many thanks.

Truckster tells me that there are a heap of offroading tracks near his place at Langwarrin. Is that close??? Just dont leave your vehicle unattended for any time.

Funny that. We actually live in sth langy and have just recently been told about the tracks that exist. Have not been to check them out yet however a mate recently informed us that he had trouble a couple of weeks ago as they were closed due to recent weather. Not sure what they're like now. Where are they?
As for the week in October, we're hoping to actually get away from home. Somewhere that we wouldn't normally go as we have the full week to play with.
