Hi all, I was just wondering if anybody knows much about the 4wd event being held up at landcruiser mountain
park for one week starting this weekend?? Also is anybody heading up there for the start of it this weekend??
Thinking about going solo if it is worth it, or if anyone else maybe doing the same??
Cheers Trevor.

Trevor
A guy in my 4wd club was advising everyone last week that the weekend is expensive but worth it -rodeo, dance, band 4wding etc.
Derek,

Thanks Derek,
Seems like I'll get the chance to go, not worried about the cost just want a good weekend. I don't get too many where work lets me escape for the whole 2 days in a row.
If anyone's going I hope to catch up, up there.
Regards Trevor.

It's the International Xtreme Winch Challenge. Much fun to be had.

Thanks Rick,
That website is were I got the idea of going from.
If anyone sees the green truck and Robinson Crusoe standing beside it, come say G'day as it looks like I'll get the weekend to myself and be able to go.
Cheers Trevor.

Seeing as you've decided to attend.................I don't know how old you are or your taste in music but it would be a very good idea to
camp well away from the mob. Friends of
mine went up there for the weekend for the
Hill Climbs and I caught up with them on the Sunday. The first thing I noticed was that the tents on Trakka Terrace were shoulder to shoulder (and that's close to the truth) and my mates (we're all old *arts) said the music and engine revving went on until the wee hours. And don't forget your dancin' shoes!

Derek,
Thanks for the advice, am not a keen all night party person (just half the night) so will look for a quite spot, shouldn't be too hard as I am
camping "back of car style". :-)) If it's too noisey just have to drive off, leave the masses to themselves.
Cheers Trevor.
