Can someone who has camped at Peachtree Creek in
Croajingolong National Park tell me if it is highly recommended to take a boat or canoe, and if there are any spots near the
campsite where it is suitable for kids to swim. Apart from fishing gear, any other essential toys to take? Thanks

Peachtree Creek is only a small
campsite with 4 or 5 spots to
camp It's on the edge of
tamboon inlet and is suitable for boats and canoes.Last time I looked it didn't look too flash for swimming as you would have to go a fair way out to escape the mud and the weeds. The locals advise not swimming in the lakes anyway as you can get a rash called pelican itch from pelican poo. Very itchy apparently.
Best campsites are either Thurra River or Wingan Inlet. You have to go in a draw for a site in the summer holidays.Best to go in winter spring when you can sometimes get the place to youself.
Another
good campsite is Shipwreck Creek out of
Mallacoota but is not suitable for boats or canoes as you
camp above a pretty little bay.Not sure of summer availability though.Hope this helps.
