Not that i want to turn this into an arguement but on Talking Footy they had a totally different camera angle and it showed Biglands lining Pickett up with a Shephard to allow a Crows takeaway...
In an interview he said "i couldnt believe i was taken out, all i remember is laying a shephard and then next minute looking up at the sky on the stretcher"....

No argument here Duke, just curiousity is all... ;-)
Ok.... if that's the case I will happily retract my statement about Picketts cheap shot.... Good on Biglands for speaking the truth, he could have easily played on it, couldn't he??

I believe it was a totally legal shot "EVEN IF" Biglands had not seen it coming...
I am a Crows and
Brisbane supporter but call em as they are...

I just saw the TV coverage..... my thoughts at the time were;
How could it have been a legal hit if the guy is knocked out?
He has taken out so many players, this was another "notch"
But......
you say it was legit, then that's footy.
I am a Lion's supporter, I got behind the Crows on Sat 'cos I hate Port.
Am on their bandwagon against the Eagles this week as
well.
And I dunno about the Saints/Swans match, Nick Riewoldt played his juniour footy at the club where my sons play (Broadbeach).... be good to see either win I think.....

I am hoping for a Crows /
St Kilda Grand Final because i wanna see a Victorian side miss another g/final....
And a good point about how can it be legal if someone is knocked out but who was to know Biglands has a glass jaw......
Every player has their trait.... pickett=knocks....... brogan=argueing..... lloyd=throwing grass in the air under a closed roof before kicking a goal.... etc etc.... It's just the game Brian...
