I've got a set on my Falcon wagon(EX601 I think). Bought them about 3 years ago and a week after I got them I was told all sorts of horror stories about wear, lack of grip, falling apart... Can't fault them, they stick like the proverbial to a blanket wet or dry. After 40,000 odd k's, they still have acceptable tread, if I come accross them again I reckon I'll go another set. Don't know about their 4by tyres though...

My GU had a set of Nankang HTs fitted when I bought it (2nd hand) - I couldn't kill the bloody things. Were great on the highway and the simply refused to wear out. Tossed them in the end to fit BFG AT to handle the corrugations of Cape York - but if you intend using them for highway/around town running then I can recommend them for that purpose.
Cheers

G'Day,

I had a set of Nankang HT fitted to my GU when I bought it also. One had tread separate at 100km/h, interesting experience, second one had tread separate but I noticed the bulge and swapped it immediately.

Some good stories, some bad. Would think that they have a problem with quality control.

For the same price can buy these, much better IMHO

hercules

I have these in 265/75/16 10 ply at $175 each. Been on for 40K and will get another 20k at least out of them

Hope this helps

Rolande
