GQ patrol heavy duty clutch

Hi Andy, Is it a Diesel or petrol? I have just done the same thing to mine which is a petrol as I plan to turbo it as well. I put in the clutch out of the turbo diesel which is much heavier than the petrol one although you would't know through the pedal. Don't forget to machine the flywheel. Regards, Glenn

I used an "EXTREME" and it took 80thousand k's of absolute punishment and then i sold the vehicle and it is 10thousand k's still going strong..
96model GQ 4.2 diesel with Turbo.. No intercooler..

HI Glenn.Sorry but its a diesel.Turboing a tb42 will be a challenge especially if its not fuel injected.Getting your fuel mixtures right will prove to be rather difficult.I have supercharged a nissan navara with a z24 lpg and it was hell.

andrew, i've got a turbo diesel intercooled 89 maverick (photos soon) & i had to put in one of those safari super heavy duty jobs. i'm pretty sure they're made by daikin. as for $'s worth every cent... the clutch, new rear main gasket, fly wheel machining & labour set me back around the $1200... it's been in the mav for over a year & i've got nothing but praise for em.
