15" Rims On An 80 Series

Hi guys,
I've been told that 15" 8 spoke sunraysia style
wheels will not fit onto an 80 series due to contact with the brake caliper.
Does this apply to the larger rear disc model only or all?
I have a 92 4500 with small rear discs.

From 8/92 on you will require 16 inch rims but prior to this 15 inch rims will fit.
In 8/92 they updated the 80 to larger discs and brakes.
I could be wrong but I think the drama will only be in the front. But I will stand corrected.
