Need some information, Is it possible to use heater hose as a low pressure oil line? Or will the hose swell, and split?
Thanks

Only as an emergency repair. It will swell and fail quickly.
I presume you are referring to turbo drain tubes. If so this will fail even quicker as the oil is very hot after leaving the turbo.

SantaAus,
120sCrusier is spot on, the hose will swell crack and break down, won't last long especially hot oil as mentioned. I carry a couple of lengths of different diameter silicon hose lasts a bit longer, can be used in other applications in emergency.

Heater hose will perish if used for oil lines, it wont happen over night but it will happen, I would suggest using low pressure (up to 250PSI) aeroquip AQP hydraulic hose or equivalent its good for 150deg C. engine oil will run at about 20 deg C. above coolant temp or approximately 120 deg C., heater hose is generally 5/8” or ¾” in hydraulic speak the size is dash 10 & dash 12 or #10 & #12.
Any hydraulic shop should be able to help i.e. pirtek ENZED.
