Has anyone had a problem fitting a airtec
snorkel to this model Rodeo..

I put one on my 98 Monterey (3.5 engine) and there has been no problem.

97 was about the cuttoff to the newer (last of the TF) Rodeos, does yours have the square or the round guards?
I have put one on a 93 TD (square guards) and it was absolutely perfect fit and finish. The intake tub runs through the inner guard and then secures perfectly to the original intake hose on the air box.
What problems are you having?? I think a few details here might help you rather than such a broard question!
The templates for the guard were spot on and a perfect overlay on my car!

1997 is the curvier model with the wiper controls on the stalk but they are both called TF. I don't have a
snorkel though.
