Have fitted 2nd battery to friends 1996 turbo diesel discovery , which required removal of elbow from air cleaner box to inner guard. We now have excessive noise/resonance from air box which is not the normal induction noise but sounds like engine has done a big end . Any ideas on how to fix this problem

I have done dozen's of these and never had that problem.
If you disconnect hose to air cleaner does it stop the noise?
