I am looking at buying a triton twin cab and have heard that they have front end
suspension problems. Has anyone found this or had experiance with it. What is the problem if anyone knows and is it easy to fix. Thanks

What year is it?
My first 4by was an 87 single cab Triton. The front ends are basically the same up to 95. the only prob was the wearing out of the idler arm nylon bushes. They take a fair bit of stress like all steering components but are bleep easy to replace.
Suspension wise I just needed to replace the stuffed shockers which were cheapies anyway and put Monroe GT Magnums on.
Wound up the T/B's all the way for a bit of lift and got a wheel alignment but didnt experience any susp. or steering "problems" at all.
This is probably no help to you at all though cos I've got no idea what you're talking about.
Try the mitsi tech section on outer limits. There's heaps of triton stuff there too.
cheers

Ratty, what year are you talking about?
I have had several triton utes 2002 and 2004 and have had no problems at all with the
suspension.
My only bug bear is the turning circle, and when you take the comfort factor into consideration it pails into nothing.

Crap turning circle - If you find out what the problem is with the front end let us all know.

You can wind in the steering stops, greatly improving the turning circle and without fouling anything.

A lot of Tritons came from factory with the steering stops almost all the way out. A simple adjustment can make all the difference.
