I've been across 5 times. December, April, September, & January twice. It always seems to rain somewhere & I reckon I get a headwind both ways!! The days are warm but nights seem to cool down nicely. Cheers....

We went of holidays last Jan/Feb. We did have air conditioning in the vehicle for when we needed it, but the weather was quite pleasant both ways. Copped a bit of head wind returning West. We didn't use the air con in the caravan as the nights were cool enough. Enjoy your drive.

48°C in the shade during the "hottest month" of the year!
Oh! But don't worry...a cool change will drop it down to 36°C in no time :)
