Hello

Just got back from a week fishing on Fraser Island. I have always carried my smelly bait bucket and fishing bags on the bull bar. Keeps the smells ourside! However we got chipped by the ranger and was told it is an offence to do this now. Apparently all part of the dingo controls. I'm not sure if she was right or not but I wasn't about to argue as we were on holidays and we didin't want any agro!

Question, how do others carry their smelly things, securely outside the vehicle?

Thanks

We have a never ending supply of thick green plastic bags 450x900 and 150um thick (other sizes available) at work they are totally waterproof and are great for just about everything including what you mention

I use a canvas garbage carrier which sits on the rear wheel, and it works fine. apart form garbage, I lug muddy boots, dirty clothes etc etc in it.

There is a supplier with whome I have dealt who does a good product at a good price, and has received some good feedback elsewhere here on the Forum. The company is In Front Camping Gear . I have three of his garbage bags, and use two of them to carry other stuff on the roof rack in lieu of a Rack Sack. Might be worth a look.

Nice one Paul. Baz I just use a super bag and hang it over the shovel on the spare tyre, but I like the look of yours.

Going along ok Paul, been batching for the past week as the wife is in NZ, due back next week.

As for the camper we are off to the Hattah at the end of the month for a week then follow the Murray back up to Rutherglen for a day or two grape tasting then home on the weekend. Apart from that just trying out where to pack things and not take to much. Added another 240v power point to make it easier to connect the battery charger and gives an extra one for outside.

You will have to drop around to check it out.

Love to Baz, BUT still working every weekend until 26 - 27 Nov.
I will have to check out the campertrailer site.
Is that Shallow Crossing the place or are you telling me you only do that type of crossing since the Exploder went under ?
