A manager where Belinda works wakes up late on Monday morning not felling the best but goes to work anyhow. Because he is late for work decides to drive instead of taking the bus.
Caught in traffic he notices that he needs fuel, so joins a que for cheap fuel. While waiting a fuel tanker arrives, have the people including Ian move on to the next servo. This is not as cheap but at least he didn't have to wait.
Fills up the Saab goes into pay only to remember that he left his wallet at home. A quick call to a work mate who arrives with money and the kids, who he was taking to school.
The rug-rats want to see how the convertible roof works on the Saab and being a nice day Ian decides to leave the roof down and finish his trip to work, now very late.
Drives into the car park under the office block, puts the roof back up. Rip. A nice big hole in the roof. This is all happened before he started work and things could only get better.

A good day at work,
Start the working week on Tuesday after a couple of weeks off exploring the Flinders. First job of the day is a sharpening of a blade, takes about 30min, then Doug wants some old lengths of "I" section beam move from behind the factory. The fork lift will only get bogged with the weight of these sections, but if I can move them away from the wall and away from a very large LPG tank I can cut them in half and then move them.
The winch on the Troopie needs a bit of a work out so for the next two days I am outside, winching, oxy cutting steel and moving it with the fork lift.
Tomorrow there is some old machinery that has to be move from out of a sea container so no doubt the winch will get another work out.
I don't work Fridays or Mondays, so after tomorrow I will be off again for another two weeks while I do the Simpson Desert Trip.
