I bought the parts today direct from Nissan. Flywheel $507 and clutch kit $374 incl GST.

Before we went on our Big Trip this year I had the gearbox out as the thrust bearing was noisy.(Posts 21661 and 21707). We discovered that the flywheel had been overheated at some stage and had 2mm 'wobble'. The previous owner had tiold me that the clutch had been replaced some 12 months prior. The 'new' clutch seemed OK but the splines were worn. The engine rear oil seal was leaking as well. Costs at that time would have been more than $1200 parts only. I decided to put everything back in and go on holiday. 20,000klicks later and the oil seal is leaking again and the noise is back(well it did not really go away) and the clutch is slipping(oil leak).

Trying to source 2nd hand parts or aftermarket parts was fruitless from where I live and I was wasting time. I contacted Smiths' Nissan Port Pirie(where I bought the 2nd hand GQ) and they got the new parts in for me at a very reasonable price. I picked them up today and they will go in shortly.

Hopefully then my GQ will go for the next 300,000k's
