Ozi Team,

I noted from an earlier post that use an e-Map. I just bought one and was wondering if you have a recommend for an Aus web site that sells the memory cards and accessories for it.

Chris,

http://www.gpsoz.com.au/

Speedy, quick, friendly. Got my emap external antenna and 12v light plug adapter there.

SM-76 external antenna is magnetic mount for $99. Bargain.

Check out the price on Smith's Marine website and then see if you still think it is a bargain - somehow, I don't think you will considering the large difference in price.

Example:

Johnny Appleseed:
GA27C External Antenna $125
GME LE907 Power Cable 12v Cig Lighter $73

GPSoz:
SM-76 External Antenna $99
GPS3VE $39

Can't see how Johnny Appleseed is cheaper, maybe in memory and map CDs packages. I've had no problems with the SM-76 antenna. Doesn't have a suction cap though, if that's what you are after. Only magnetic or screws.

Wazza.

You are comparning genuine Garmin parts to non-genuine.
Check out JAGPS pricing on the non-genuine items. Always compare apples to apples, not apples to lemons.

Understood, but the money is still in my pocket. Or, maybe fuel tank :) . Cheers.

Argh, but did you check JAGPS for the non-genuine items?
The external aerials at C. H. Smith Marine were $54.95 including magnetic and suction window mount, and both plug types.
