Some weeks ago 'Coyote' asked the above question. Outnabout David replied that he knew where there was such a trek and anyone could have the plot file for it. Subsequently David sent it to me but I am unable to 'decipher' the file.
I asked David if he could just tell me where it was: "lGo to DEF, leave by the Road to XYZ and turn left at the road to ABC" etc but he replied that it was complex and he couldn't describe it.
If anyone else had the plot file from David and could take the trouble to give me the location of the trek I'd be grateful. Not necessarlly a "blow by blow" route but just the general location would do. I'll take it from there.
Many thanks in advance

The file worked fine for me in Oziexplorer.. or have I miss undertsood, upon further reading it sounds like you are trying to read the plot file? If you like, I can send it to you again as it works fine for me.. If you haven't had any luck by tonight I can e-mail you a descritpion from my own reading of it through Oziexplorer from home if you like..
Let me know at damianreitsma@adam.com.au if you want more... By sunday night I should be able to give you a first hand description too.. (I'm not into Fooseball/arial pingpong so it should be a nice quiet weekend on the roads down in the southern half of Austrlia this weekend)

George,
The reason it is complex is because you would end up taking the wrong roads and probably spend your time on the bitumen. This trek is just odds and sods roads and summer traks that sometimes only go a 1km or so and can sometimes run parralell with the blacktop. I am sorry but without ozie explorer you will have a lot of difficulty finding it. If you want I am happy to drive it with you one day, just let me know and we can arrange. It is miuch better after it has been raining so it would need to be soon. I just want you to know I was being hard to get along with but it would be really difficult to describe how to turn given that everyones speedo reads different and I would have to retrace the route righting down every turn.
Anyway let me know if you would like to do it sometime.
