Hi Guys and Girls ,
Has anybody had trouble with the switch in the overhead light ?
Mine blows fuses and bulbs contantly to the point now where I have given up on it and installed an aftermarket light on a bendy arm .
I would like to find the problem and fix it .
Thanks ,
Willie .

goodday willie
have you done any work around it lately and tightened it up so that the wires behind are toughing metal or have you pulled it out to check for broken wires etc

The best way I find o fix the problem is to temporarily wire a headlight bulb across the fuse connection.
Under normal circumstances the overhead light works and the headlight glows a little - when a short is detected the headlight comes on
bright, thus indicating when the short occurs and what you were doing at the time, one can even "play" with the overhead light and watch the fault happening without constantly blowing fuses.

Techie.
