In planning a trip from Perth to Canberra over the Christmas holidays in my 2000 GU which is on gas.
While trying to work out a fuel budget I am having trouble finding which roadhouses past Noresman until Ceduna have gas and at what price.
Of the places such as Balladonia ,Cocklebiddy and others which are listed on the fuel prices menu none list the price of LPG.
I have tried the West Australian Fuel watch site plus the kleenheat website and related links but not many roadhouses appear on these sites
Any help would be appreciated

I did that trip a couple of months ago. Most of the S/Stns along the road sell LPG but make certain that your petrol tank is full as I found that some of the pumps were not working although they had LPG and some pumps would only fill my tank to 50% capacity. When I complained I was told that they were lucky to get deliveries of LPG let alone have their pumps serviced.
The highest price that I paid was 70c ltr but prices have gone up since

According to the latest Ezy Map in my grubby little hands,........ you will get LPG at......Caiguna BP, Cocklebiddy BP, Madura Shell, WA/SA Border Village Mobil, Nullarbor Shell, Nundroo Mobil, Penong Caltex, Ceduna All

There you go, I doubt you will run out of gas before the next fill up point

Cheers

I went across from Melbourne to Perth at Christmas 2004 in a 4.8 Patrol and had no problem getting LPG on the trip, try this web site http://www.alpga.asn.au/home/index.asp. This is the Australian liquefied Petroleum Gas Association and has a trip planner on it which tells you everywhere to get gas on your way.
