Hi All

At the Perth Royal Show i looked at the Frontier Soft top Camper Trailer, it look rather good to me but i was wondering if anyone out there had and experience with them or have heard about them.

I would appreciate any feed back whether its a positive or a negative.

Thanks all

Kevin I went to the show yesterday. Not sure if I'm about to discuss the same thing but Frontier are they the ones from Queensland? The one I'm thinking of was an off road variety. My concerns are that there is no room for a fridge, and the departure angle was appalling with about 4 foot hanging behind the axle and the chassis wasn't bent up to allow for departure. Big kitchen area but no fridge. Crazy.

The other one, again off road type was very high off the ground and access to all the odds and bobs was awkward. IMHO.

Not into campers yet so only a cursory inspection of them.

Cheers

Duncan, thanks for your thoughts on the frontier camper.
They were the ones that are made in Queensland and i did notice that there was no room for a fridge or very little room to be able to store bits and pieces in it while travelling.
To be honest i never took much notice of the departure angle but i can see what you mean, my wife absolutly loved it and wants one just like it so i thought i would do a little enquiring about it.

Did you find that the people at the stand to be friendly, we got there while the footy was on and it was like we were getting in there way (especialy the female).

The other off roader that you spoke of was good in height and look tough but i thought as you did the access to the odds and bobs was awkward.

We currently have a 15' poptop which is good but we are wanting something that is lower to tow and be able to go off the beaten track to a limit.

From the replies i got i dont think that there are many on the road and not many people new much about them which makes me think that it needs alot more investigation before purchase, i emailed the company that make then in Qld asking for a lot more information on the camper than what i got from the show but as yet i have had no reply.

Thanks again for you thought, stay safe and take care.

Kevin

Kevin, the bloke I spoke to said that their patent was pending. Lots of room but personally I found them to be a bit impacticable. Length of a van but the look of a camper without the benefit of a fridge.

Cheers and good luck in your search.

Dunc.
