I run the batteries (2) down by leaving the caravan frig on over night,I found that I could not jump start with one battery, had to have 2 battery to fire it up.
Is there a way of jump starting a Jackeroo on one battery ?

er........ not following you .... two batteries ... one battery..... jump on one ? More info ? TD Jacks can be such a bugger to start in cold conditions that you should not take any power from your main cranking battery when stopped. If you use a 700CCA main battery or better (not common but available) you should be ok in chilly conditions, IF you run the correct oil grade.

The 2002 diesel comes as standard with 2 batteries, the problem I have found is that if both go down(frig on over night)then you need 2 external batteries and 2 sets of jumper to fire the thing up.
Is there a way of overcoming this problem.
I have been told that in trying to jump it with one battery, the other battery is drawing from the jump battery therefore not getting enough power to start ?????
Hope you can follow this ??

Understood - forgot re the two batteries after 2000 (mine had the one). Suggest you need to divorce the two batteries with a controller - lots of people do this - Rotronics/Piranha etc make them - available at all 4WD outlets - you may need it fitted by a pro - you start the engine from the main battery and run accessories from the other - the controller sends alternator power to the main first - when it is full, the charge goes on to the aux - or variations on that theme. As said, if the main is a 700CCA battery, you should be right for starting (Yuasa Overlander is one). The two batteries thing from Holden is their answer to a classic cock-up from Isuzu - its a great injection system, but cold thick oil it can't handle - two batteries and thin oil are their answer - Holden of course couldn't give to hoots about anyone's need for an aux battery and accessories etc.
