Just purchased a new 05 Jayco Eagle, does anyone know if there is a solution to the main doorway opening changing from being out of parrallel of up to 7mm from the floor to the half door height. Is this because the chassis is flexing to much or what. It looks like I may have to jack up the four corners as well as under the steps. Any ideas as I wonder whether Jayco need to address the chassis strength.

Joe.

Hi Joe, i think i would be taking it back to the dealer, get them to answer the questions, after all, they took the commission. Its either acceptable or not to them, at least you have logged the problem and if it gets worse, you can always revisit the original problem to them... Michael

Also have an Eagle O5 and have seen the same issue on the main door particularly on uneven ground

I have just adjusted the leags on each corner to overcome it

Another problem I am having is with front boot which is not opening properly due to door warping - ? due to over strength gas springs - whole section now has to be replaced

I would advise taking yours back in - although Jayco will fix the problems under warranty - why are they not fixing when they build them
