Lower regard for the welfare system, WHAT!!! What does that mean,, We are supposed to have some sort of regard for the welfare system!!! I had never really thought about it , i guess because i have never taken a cent from the government,, But yeah, just thinking about i do have a regard for it. I know i pay my fair share into it and many using it have been bludging of it for years!!!

Is it really a wonder that the people "in full-time work with a higher than average income" dislike dole bludgers? I pay a higher tax, so I'd like to see some kind of benefit from that, not just the knowledge than I'm suporting more than one bludger's allowance.

Maybe they should also introduce the snip to the blokes and woman that contually fall pregnant BY ACCIDENT especially those with 2 or more. That's a joke why would you bother to work when your pulling in $500 a week + what you get from the father in maintanace. Yeah I'd love to be getting paid to sit on my arse and still be able to smoke and run around in my car. We are friends with a lady who works 4 medicare and the latest question to be asked by young girls is if they fall pregnant and have a baby then give it up 4 adoption are they still able to get the $4000 grant and yes they can, what a joke this money should be at least passed onto the people that want to adopt the child. Maybe I should have a sex change then Ill be write, money from everwhere. The sad thing is it's the kids that pay for it. That's my whinge for the day. Take Care Regards Vitara

Its a bit unfair - they happen to survey Willem on his one big day in town and then tar us all with the same brush.

On an unrelated matter, I might have to change my title (Bob of KAOS). Vale Don Adams (Maxwell Smart) of CONTROL.

" . . . Based on a Roy Morgan Research survey . . .".

If memory serves me correct that would be the same research company who predicted the Labour Party would win the Federal Election in a landslide.

Well my boss came in this morning and told me I'm obese and generally a nasty person, now I know why. Its my 4x4 sitting in the company car park........

He read this article on the weekend.

Makes me a little upset all this 4x4 hype, the small group creating the noise sure has some power, pity we don't know what their interests are and start lobbying it

Same old bleep .

This is new but>
“Found city owners of large four-wheel-drive vehicles are less community minded than other drivers, less charitable, more likely to be homophobic and have a low opinion of indigenous Australians”

LMAO, where do they get this stuff!!

Can't explain the homophobic bit but maybe it's more likely that 4wd owners have been to places like Eundemu, Kunnawarritji, Warburton, Billiluna, Meekathara, Wiluna etc and seen how much money is thrown at our indigenous Australians and just how much of it is trashed and wasted.

Don't get me wrong, I know there are community minded, good indigenous austrlians out there. I know some who are genuinely trying to improve the lot of their people, and have a great deal of respect for anyone prepared to help them and the help that they get from them.

It's just that after them there's the other end of the scale. You don't have to look far either.

Didn't interview me obviously cos I have a low opinion of feral white people as well.

Dave

A lot of it is uni-student’s who think just because they almost have a degree, they must shear their opinion with the rest of Australia, Believe me at my age you meet a lot of them and half don’t know bleep about bleep , They get a degree and think they know everything.

What garbage.
Survey doesn't reveal how many 2wd operators as opposed to 4wd were polled.
Majority of 4wd owners in my area are in their 20's.
Typical media hype and innuendo-never let the truth or facts get in the way of bulls--t.
