I have read in 4wd monthly an an ad for Infomedia Holden Service and Maintenance Information cd. I have a jackaroo diesel and was wondering these cd's are worth getting. They would have to be cheaper than the paper manuals but more of a hassle to use out bush if no laptop is available.Has anyone used them

Steve,

I'd be interested! Firstly, because the paper manuals are over $400 each and are only available from Holden.

Also, carrying a laptop around isn't so unusual anymore. There is quite a few people who use them connected to GPS, etc. Just got to make sure a power supply is available on the vehicle.

You can also get them from www.helminc.com. This is a mob in the US, and they sell original Isuzu Trooper manuals and CDs ... but then again, the US doesn't get the diesel.

Hi Steve,

Which issue of 4WD Monthly is that ad in and what page? I've gone through the January issue front to back and can't find it.

Any details on where to get the CD, other than a Holden dealer? You can email me at savvas_e@yahoo.com.au.

Thanks!

Steve,
without sounding too mercenary I might be interested in a 1/4 share of a CD
