Hi all, I've just aquired above tent on loan and there aren't any instructions. I've done a search through quite a few search engines with no luck. I've been told the tent was purchased 2-3yrs ago making it a 2002-2003 model. Can anyone help? Thx

Lay tent on ground.

Somehow engage wife in conversation, that you know will turn into argument.

Storm of in a huff ( with 6 pack ).

Drink 6 pack.

Come back to erected tent, and tell all other male helpers it's now time to leave your wife alone... tent is up!

Cheers

Oh, forgot...

If you ARE, the wife, then just reverse all of the above roles...

This technique also works when tea needs to be cooked.

Get all the shock corded poles and put them out to full length.
From memory you will end up with 4 long poles and 6 slightly shorter ones.

Use 2 long poles to erect the dome at one end. then the other dome. With the Shorter poles, one goes at each end and 2 in the middle of the 2 domes.

From memory, I lay out the tenr, bend the two poles and lift the centre of the roof to where the poles cross, tie it off then attach all the hooks

Putting the fly on, your guess is as good as mine. Trial and error to see where it fits. from memory, one end is darker, and this goes on the sleeping end.

And have divorce papers handy. Women just cant understand what you are trying to tell them when you have your hand full and are holding something in your mouth, whist muttering under your breath and pointing with your elbows.
In the interests of a long marrage, attempt it yourself. You will be bleep that you had no help, but it is better for all concerned. trust me.

Thx for the info. It's funny that most think I'm the man who posted the question though...as we're going with 2 and 1/2 couples, he's hoping théy'll know how to put it up! As usual, it's the wife who's being pro-active! Cheers

I should have realised.

A man wouldn't have noticed that there are no instructions as he wouldn't have gone looking for them until everything else had failed or something broke. ;-)

Just book into a motel if you can't figure out how to erect a tent .Probably safer for everyone

Hi Michelleh
Our tent is the same
1.peg out 4 corners of base
2.theres 8 poles.4 long 4 short
3.the 4 long criss cross the main dome and the sun room.
4.the 4 short run through the sleeves either end of each dome
5. pull fly over tent and hook on elastic hooks and peg out the rest of base

sorry I cant send you sheet as mine is nearly dead

Hi Michelleh

Just a tip to ad to the above put all poles through after pegging it down. Get someone inside to lift in the centre and that makes it a peice of cake to get it errected

Best time 4 people 10 min from stopping the car

Have fun
