Wanting to upgrade the unhappy springs on 95 model hilux. Looking for proven
suspension and happy 4wder's.Hoping for some good input.

I've got a Dual Cab with 7 leaf rears & 5 leaf fronts made by a
well established spring manufacturer here in WA. Went in,told them what I wanted, & made to suit. Gives about 2.5" of lift as
well. Originally used HD OME shockers, but found they were too harsh, so changed to Rancho 9000 adjustables & a Rancho steering stabalizer. I also went for greasable shackles, but not sure whether they are really worthwhile. Over your way I would try Carrolls Springs in Smithfield (I think) & then take it to Bruce Rieleys Truck-Align in Narrellen & get it properly setup alignment wise.
Or you could buy a questionable quality package deal from one of thoses "who know everything about 4x4'' mobs.
