Hi!
I am planning to drive up to
Cape York around mid-October. We are in Byron Bay right now and working our way up slowly.
How's the season look so far? Is this going to be too late? I have read everywhere that roads become impassable in November because of the rain...
thanks
Christian

I am planning
Cape york at a similar time. I have been talking to locals as
well as posts here, all this points to be good conditions. The general thinking is the rains will come late this year, so you should be ok.
cheers
Josh

If its not raining It will be fine and if it rains it will be wet and if its cloudy it could rain then again it might not.
Then theres the wind thats a whole other story.
All the best
