Hilux Ting??????

It did what yours does.
First in the morning when I reversed, it would ting, then when I drove forward it would tink, and speraticlly during the course of driving.

When I fist first changed the unis I thought I had fixed it, then a day or 2 later it was back again.

It didnt do it all the time, but enough to annoy.

It may be the centre bearing, as it to has a spline too i think.

But if I were a gambler, my money would be on that flange nut.

A mate of mine whos a mechanic, says its a more common problem than most think. But if the people want new unis and centre bearings then thats what they get. ( The customer is always right )

You never know, they might tighten up the nut while they are changing the centre bearing.

Just check to make sure they put a new centre bearing in ;D
