NEWS FLASH...................

Pesty broke the cruiser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't leave today....has to wait until the Toyota God looks kindly upon his credit card and allows a new brake system to be despatched from Nippon Land...hahaha

Seriously, he stuffed his brakes and had to get new rubbers or something like that. He just SMS'd me to let me know he's on the road now after getting the parts at 1700 hrs.

Muddy had his mystery guest along!!! Who would've guessed???

Pesty got us lost in Whyalla and got paid-out for it at last night's award ceremony; and then had the hide to blame me!!! The only thing I did wrong was to follow him!!! hehehe

Great weekend, although I was useless on Sunday....crook as a dog for some unknown reason (not grog!!!).

Cheers m8

Sorry Brew,
I should've taken this opportunity to again thank the Whyalla Club (via Andrew......) for their excellent hospitality and organisational skills. It's the sort of weekend that doesn't just fall into place over a few weeks. They had been working up to this weekend since October last year. They had a great number of sponsors who provided "goodies" of all shapes and sizes.
The wild-life was ever-present, in the form of a squillion flies and one solitary bloody emu that was just a little too bloody friendly at times. He/she/it tried to eat Annette's hair and nibbled my ear. A real P.I.T.A.!!!hehehehe

I wonder if Pesty kept the map I gave him. LOL
Glad to hear he's mobile again.

Sorry I didnt get to chat more with you guys but I was FLAT OUT all weekend. Weekend went like a blur for me. Was a good weekend though - good people, good trips and perfect weather (except for those bloody flies)

Did you drop in to see Willem laid up in PtAugusta?

I live in Whyalla and am a member of the 4WD club but had to work all long weekend. Only managed 1 half day trip. What a bugger! Looked like it was a good few days though.

Which trip did you gt on? Myola was brilliant.

I missed Tregalana because I was doing the MtLaura thing but we are planning to run it again soon as a Club trip, before the Army takes over and closes it off to us.

I did the Myola trip Andrew. It was excellent, I haven't been through that area before. We are lucky to have such good drives so close to home. Tregelana for a club trip sounds good, I hope I'm not working on the day!

Hi Brew, Pesty, Roachie, Muddy, All The Murray Bridge Crew, Peter, Rocky, Pat, Andrew and Whyalla Crew and Families.

I know I am late posting to here but I have been real busy up until now to get online and have a catch up read.

Thanks for the great time on the various Whyalla treks and expecially the night Nav course, that was sooooooooo much fun with John leading us astray at times........but LOVED IT!!!

Thanks to the Muddy and Pesty from the Y.P. club for asking me to tag along this year.
Special mention goes to Muddy for picking me up and especially putting up with me.......lol
Also thanks to Brew and Better Half for hosting a bbq for me at their place, it was great to catch up with you guys again.

I had a great time and it was well worth the time I gave up to come to S.A. again.

Thanks Once Again To All.

Night Nav is a lot of fun isnt it!

Rod (the guy that gave the GPS talk in the afternoon) sets the course and really excelled this year. Some really good areas he put you guys through, including the Canyon........ the bugger

I was supposed to check the route at night during the week but ran out of time so I actually snuck out and did it on Saturday afternoon.
Daylight, local knowledge and a lead foot got me around the course in 38minutes. The best time on the night was 68minutes.

Glad to hear you enjoyed our SA/Whyalla hospitality. As I said above, I wish I had more time to get around and catch up with everyone.
