New Business Directory

Hi all,

Just a quick one to let you know that we have just completed a re-write of the Business Search system. The new system is now called Directory and uses keyword search functionality that ranks results based on relevance to the boolean search phrase. We have also changed the output interface to make it a much more streamlined and easy to use facility.

Businesses that have added a GPS position to their directory listing will also appear on maps that are now shown in the directory system (See GPSOZ). We also now show the top searches that are being used, this list is on the updated site Home page in the Directory section and also the new Directory page.

Make sure you have a look at the updated system we are sure you will find it much easier and quicker to locate the businesses you are looking for.
