Nothing much Bruce. No comments from the retailers on the show at all, either they didn't want to or they weren't asked. Just more one sided reporting.

There was a segment on Today Tonight or a Current Affair about ten days ago where they were focusing on companies doign "Bait Advertising".
One of the companies focused on was Repco and they had a gentlemen who wanted to take his son down to buy the $99 video kit Blaupunk i think it was. He said he went into the store the night BEFORE the sale and they had none on the shelves, then he rang around all the stores in his area and they told him they hadnt had any for three months or so of that item.
Obviously his son didnt get to spend his pocket money on that item. They also had a number of other companies and as
well interviewed Graeme Samuel of the ACCC.
I didnt see any reps from any of the companies named at all, it was jsut conumers who had been dudded and a general discussion about the types of BAIT Advetsiign etc.
Wasnt good publicity for REPCO thats for sure, no wonder in that thread previously they were sendign out $100 vouchers etc. I only watched it for what they were goign to say about Repco as i had read the thread with interest.
