Could someone give me some info on the 4wd tracks near Kwinana. I've been invited to join a mate who is going there for the first time also. We will be following some friend of his on their dirt bikes. Those guys always go there with their bikes and I am wandering if the tracks are really suited for 4wd vehicles. So what sort of track is it? Any difficulties? Do I need to be cautious of bikes as it seems to be
the spot for them?
Thanks for any input you can give me.
SLY.

I'm going to guess you mean the "Off road
recreation area" near kwinana.
There are plenty of tracks through the area from mild to more. In winter it gets plenty muddy, and can be more difficult. The tracks are nothing special though, just somewhere to go for a play if you happen to be around that area.
It's OK for 4WD vehicles, but the dirt bikes fly around everywhere and it can get dangerous with them coming over blind crests at speed, etc.

Thanks for that Prado 4x4. I think I'll give it a miss for the week-end cause I don't really fancy having dirt bikes flying around. Too risky especially that it can get hard to chase them up if they are on unregistered machines.
I might however give it a go during week days sometime so can you please give me some directions on how to get there?
Thanks in advance,
SLY.
