Just filled up the car at the local servo and had to wait for 4 other vehicles to fill up from the only 2 diesel bowsers. It s**ts me that a station with 12 bowsers has got only 2 bowsers with diesel available when we are seeing more and more diesel vehicles around. To top it off these bowsers have all other fuels available so quite often the whole servo is empty but still you have to wait for the available bowser. The servo is only one way and the pumps dont reach the other side of the car so realistically there is only one bowser available to me.

All this even before Ive been to the register. Just my little gripe for the day. :-(

Life altering stuff isn't it.

I suppose the victims of the recent earthquakes, mudslides, suicide bombers and other life altering or ending events would support your concerns.................

It's just as bad for gas

But what really get's me is when there are 4 empty bays - only one of them has gas - and the car in front of you chooses the one empty bay that has gas.

Yeah - can well sympathise with you.

One of the big reasons I got the Prado was the fuel system. 180 litres in two 90 l tanks standard. Means less trips to the servo (but bigger hits to wallet when i DO go!). I seek out the Hi-flow pumps in the truck areas and can fill up in about the same time as a regular car.

Last week I ran it right down and filled up at a place that had only a regular flow diesel pump. Took forever to put in 170 litres and I had to pay $225 for the pleasure!

Yep, had my gripe for today too!

Cheers

I wonder if Woolworths got the message at their Foreat Forum servo, which has the most ridiculous entry for vehicles. I had to wait for the diesel servo to come available, and held up umpteen vehicles who were obviously wanting petrol, but coz of the location of the one and only diesel pump, no one could get past me (I couldn't even pull aside to let others thru, as I was gridlocked in myself). This was a while back, but haven't been back myself to see if they've improved it. No desire to get caught in that mess again.

What makes me laugh is when I'm putting in the usual 115L from a slow diesel pump and some impatient twerp behind me starts getting cranky cos I'm taking too long!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It's right about now that I remember that I havn't checked the oil since last saturday !!

Diesel owners get their revenge (sometimes)
