Has anyone any info on likely release dates for these vehicles. I read an earlier post that talked of 2006. any idea of timing?

The info I can find on the new LC will probably be a release date early 07. For me it will be a race between the new LC and the Hummer H3 due here in 07 from the South African plant.

I am not talking a makeover of the current LC shape but rather the replacement model for the LC 100 series which at present is known as the LC 130 series.

I am a fan of anything Landcruiser but I will be disapointed if this is the next model. Lets hope it's a concept only.

My local Toyota Service Manager told me last week he believed the production of the 100 series would stop in December 05, production line re-jigged for 130 series and full production to commence for March 06 release. This co-incides with 8 year model run for both 80 and 100 Series (80 series March 1990-March 1998, 100 Series March 1998-March 2006). I asked if he had seen a prototype or anything and he would not say. Thought there would have been more spy pics around by now ?

I did a lot of research on this and very much doubt that.
2007 is the go.

I was getting my 100 series serviced and was speaking to the Fleet Rep i deal with and he said he expects the new 100 series model in 2007 sometime.
He may be right or wrong but thats what he said, wouldnt or couldnt tell me what it was goign to look like or any features at all.
