Have been getting my beast serviced/repairs by clowns I bought from due to silly warranty I purchased at the same time.
Desperately need a recommendation so I can change to someone who actually knows what they are doing, especially auto electrical at the moment.
Quite new to Adelaide so don't feel comfortable choosing out of the Yellow Pages.
Any advice and recommendations gratefully accepted.
Thank you!!

Mate have found 4WD Systems at holden hill to be really good and just adjacent to their shop is a good auto electrician - don't know the shop name though.

good luck

My recommendation:

Definately D-Track Diesel (south region) for anything engine related.

North East Auto Electrical for electrical stuff.

Does anyone have any comments on Alltrack (on South Rd)?

I'm in the same boat, being new to Adelaide. I'm looking for something preferably between the freeway and the airport, and Alltrack is the only lot I've seen that advertise as 4wd specialists.

I'm new too and went through the same saga.. I was told Alltrek were the leaders in the area but that they new how to charge too.. I'm North and have found Beck Automotive to be awesome.. Small company.. The owner has his own modified touring 4WD so he knows about moding a car and maintaining it for touring etc.. he has spent hours giving me advice I haven't paid for (save the carton I dropped on his doorstep in appreciation) they have made suggestions rather than told me what I have to do and have been open and honest balout what needs to be done and what 'should' be done etc etc..
Regarding Auto electrics.. just around the corner from Beck Auto is Elizabeth Auto Electrics. They too have an awsoem rep in Adelaide.. I have had numerous referrrals from diffenring sources.. battery suppliers, ARB and Battery retailers. (That was before I even mentioned their name) They didn;t charge me when they couldn't find a fault I had reported and have also provided extensive advice without charging me..
Good luck. Welcome to Adlelaide.. I highly recommend exploring out to the FLinders and Yorke Peninsula all great adventures and not far from home...
