Hi Guys,

Looking for a shovel/axe holder that bolts onto the spare wheel bracket of a GU. Have found a couple out there that look ok but wondering what others have found and their experinces.

TIA.......Leroy

I made my own and one for my son. Coppied the Brown Davis idea and made it to suit our needs and out of steel.

I got one from 4x4equip
The reason I gone for this one is that you can get accessories like light/shower pole mounted on to the shovel/axe holder and you can use those poles in
the ground as well. Very handy for long trips like Simpson, etc.

has anybody heard of a product by the name of "fist grip". Can't find it anywhere. Somebody posted about it and said it was available thru Repco or similar. Only $25. I've Googled up an American site which shows it but can't find local info.

ARB have them. About $20 for a pair.

They are great. I have 4 of them cabletied to my roof bars to hold both the shovel and the axe.

Hey guys,

If you can locate swivel type scaffolding pipe clamps - Drill out center bolt - bingo, 2 clamps - bolt wherever you need.
