Hi all... long time no visit. Just completed a big tour up the centre. Went from Gippsland via
Mildura,
Broken Hill, Leigh Ck, Maitland,
Whyalla,
Alice Springs, and
Darwin ... with a direct trip back home over four days! On my pat malone... great days and nights in the outback, meeting lots of people.
Damn hot and humid working in
Katherine and
Darwin though. Schools have 'under-cover' assembly areas. Trucks backing in to make deliveries to canteens while I try to keep the attention of 150 or so kids.
37 degrees with 60%+ humidity.. phew.
Went fishing for Barra on Corroboree
billabong.. great day... lots of crocs. Saw a sea eagle pick up a barra and fly away with it.. at least someone made a catch!

about a month and then tour number 20 of Tassie coming up. Hey.... still running two of those tyres... amazing ks out of em!

My first time this late in the year. Warmer, and with daylight saving... should be good, but only around
