Karen and Garry,
I have been into one at Slacks Creek just South of
Brisbane and it is just as advertised, huge with a heap of stock. It was formally a
Camp Mart store.
Heaps of boating, fishing and camping gear with a small amount of 4x4 gear as
well.
Prices seem OK, not earth bleep tering but they make up for it in range. I was also impressed with the amount of 12volt stuff they have.
Pretty impressive and
well worth a look.

Know one of the original staff from Campmart. He was not impressed with the quality of the goods (OK some are brand name but much is not) and also the way staff are treated.
Campmart used to be a friendly family type business but is now just an extension of Supercheap.
For me, if I want camping gear I'll go to a camping gear store. If I want 4x4 gear I'll go to a 4x4
shop. If I want boating gear I'll go to a boating chandlery. At least I can be pretty sure I'll be talking to somebody who knows their stuff, not just the "checkout chick"
Mate was so impressed he bailed and went to work for the opposition.
Cheers.....
